But there you are, another good editorial, not so artistic, but beautiful nonetheless; and reminiscent of the beginning of her career. I do prefer to see her doing this type of work rather than retelling her story for the umpteenth time. Great year’s end.]

I’m so very pleased. This is a great Christmas present, a beautiful editorial, as her previous one for Vogue was. All in all, 2014 was a great year for her work.

With a stunning Lupita Nyong’o on its December cover, Glamour is kicking off this year’s “Women of the Year” issue. The magazine also named Sarah Burton and Natalia Vodianova to its list. The designer is being honored as “The Visionary,” with Anna Wintour weighing in that she is “so humble. A significant part of her success is that warmth.” Vodianova is given the title “The Voice for Children” in honor of her charity, the Naked Heart Foundation, which benefits autistic kids. Raves her friend Stella McCartney, “Her work comes from the heart. She’s absolutely relentless in the effort that she’s willing to put in.”
